The petition would have greater impact if all the signers vowed to subscribe to the paper if they fired her.

I'd say so. Because I think everyone has the capacity to be intolerant, petty and malicious at times. Not just conservatives.

She said a school was a Muslim one, supported by taxpayers, when it is not. It doesn't go much further than my public high school did. My school also let Christian student groups hold a bible study. I'm not sure what the big deal is. It allowed Muslims to pray in a room during the day (all of the Muslims were East African immigrants who took ESL there so that wasn't a hard thing to implement), wash themselves in the bath rooms, and not force them to sit in the lunchroom during Ramadan.
KK has a vendetta and twists everything in order to point out how the scary Muslims are taking over and trying to corrupt your precious Christian children.
That was probably a waste of time, as I think Maz is still here only because MNspeak is cheaper than a dominatrix.

Sure it is. There are plenty of teachers and substitutes who have said so. If the separation of church and state is enforced with christians, and it is, then it should be enforced against muslims. And that means no prayer accommodations. If they want to have a private muslim school, they certainly are free to open one. But not with my money.

Jail? No. Fired? Yes.
So, in your opinion, it's a columnist's fault if someone else sends threatening messages as a result of what him or her wrote.

I just got done making homemade cookies for my family that may not be

Obviously KK cannot be held responsible unless she writes, "kill the Muslims and convert them!" But she should be held to the same standards as the writers in the newsroom.
