Ranty points out the the Jewish Historical Society of the Upper Midwest is cosponsoring a walking tour of northside Synagogues (scroll down for info) on May 31.

Thanks for the link Max! I'm really excited about this tour. I have always loved the Mikro Kodesh building, and the Sharei Zedeck looks pretty interesting too.

I really hope the tour guides dig into the rich history of the Jewish Community in Near North too, as opposed to just focusing on the buildings... but we'll see - should be cool either way.
