My favorite thing about Springtime in Minnesota is that touring bands start coming back. I can count no fewer than 10 concerts I hope to attend between now and early May, which is about 5x as many as I attended this winter.

My favorite thing about springtime is that it means that the freaking winter is over, but the return of bands is up there too.
I HATE YOU WINTER.
This winter seems longer and drearier.

So Audrey Hepburn meets Robbie Robertson in a North East bar, they rob a bank in Northfield and escape to Paris where she plays the violin and he paints. Roma Di Luna - simply fabulous band. You have to see them. They will be discovered any day now, and deservedly so. The best thing in local music at the moment.
